It's not because I'm Korean but Korea has shown overwhelming performances over the years and that is why I expected them do to well even though there were some worrying signs. Earlier in the season IEM and MSI were both won by non-Korean teams. Also, a lot of top players went overseas before the season making be only give 9 stars our of 10 for expectation. But all 3 teams made it past groups with clean performances and SKT looked invincible. 韓國賽區： 賽前期待指數：9/10 目前表現指數：10/10 我先探討韓國不是因為我是韓國人，而是這幾年韓國的表現實在非常出色 而這也是我期待甚高的原因，即便一開始有些值得擔憂的預兆 早些的 IEM 跟 MSI 都是由非韓隊伍奪冠，而且許多國內頂尖玩家出走也是讓我 之所以期待僅止於給九分的原因，但是三支代表隊都以非常精彩的表現在小組賽裡 脫穎而出，更別提 SKT 現在看起來所向披靡。 SKT Pros: I don't think this team needs any explanation. They are just strong. Cons: Being too strong is also a bad thing. It just makes it awkward when they lose. SKT 優點：我不認為認定他們強需要任何解釋，啊就超強啊 缺點：太強（喂！）也是個缺點，就是輸的時候看起來會很尷尬 KT Pros: Aggressiveness and sharp rotations. Cons: Risks from being too aggressive and nervous laning phase. KT 優點：侵略性與非常敏銳的輪轉調線 缺點：太侵略導致有些風險，而且對現也有點需要注意 KOO Pros: Free-spirited Pick/Bans combined with their perfect plays. Cons: Pick/Ban gamble makes them inconsistent. KOO 優點：靈活的 Pick/Ban，而且選的陣容都能玩得非常優秀 缺點：賭博性質的 Pick/Ban 增加了隊伍的不確定性 [Europe] Expectation before Worlds: 6/10 Performance up to now: 8/10 I knew that European teams had very good scrim results against Korean teams and watching LCS made be think that a team like Fnatic could be a threat. But it is not like the M5 days and I could not get rid of the thought that it was only Europe. It is true that Europe has been underwhelming the past years. But I was surprised after watching their games. Europe with their fresh picks, unique style and Origens performance was totally unexpected. General xPeke's experience made me admire him. 歐洲賽區： 賽前期待指數：6/10 目前表現指數：8/10 歐洲隊伍與韓國隊伍之間的對決都互有往來，而且在看過 LCS 賽季之後讓我覺得 Fnatic 著實可能是個威脅 但現在已經不是 M5 那個年代了，歐洲就僅止於如此，歷年來一直沒有什麼特殊表現 即便如此今年的比賽還是讓我非常讚嘆，嶄新的選角策略與戰術還有 Origens 的表現 出乎我意料之外，尤其是 xPeke 的表現令我印象深刻 Fnatic Pros: Aggressive skirmishes leading into amazing team fights. Balance between the old and new is impressive. Cons: Inconsistent from their risky play style. Fnatic 優點：透過侵略性的小會戰取得後來的團戰優勢，新舊戰術與選角的平衡也非常好 缺點：風險性太高的遊戲風格 Origen Pros: Slow-paced and perfect game management. Can't forget this teams backdoor. Cons: Seems to have trouble when opponents play a fast-paced game. Origen 優點：大後期的風格與遊戲理解，令人難以忘懷的偷拆 缺點：快步調的遊戲開局似乎是他們的罩門 [NA] Expectation before Worlds: 4/10 Performance up to now: 2/10 This is a region that I personally under hype. Even though this is the place where LOL started they haven't had any great performances. After watching TSM win IEM I thought maybe NA is different this year. Also watching CLG at LCS made me think that with these performances and players, NA might be different than before. So its true that I was expecting them to do well. But they were weird. We couldn't see their strengths that they showed at LCS. C9 who played better than expected and were set to get out of groups lost all of their remained matches and ended up failing to make it out. The decisive problem with NA is that none of their teams had good game management which was disappointing. As someone who started LoL in the NA server and became a pro-gamer by learning a lot from NA pro players, watching NA performing poorly was sad to watch. Especially Dyrus to me and our team(MIG) was one of those players that made us seem like we were against a brick wall and seeing him retire was sad to see. I will cheer on for you. Fighting!. 北美賽區：（淘汰的區域打最多呵呵） 這個區域我個人不甚看好，即便這裏是 LoL 的發源地，他們從未有任何好表現 在看到 TSM 在 IEM 奪冠之後，我猜想北美今年是否已經有所蛻變 而且在看到 CLG 季賽表現後，我開始認為北美今年也許真的有所不同了 是的，我曾期待過他們有所展現，但他們的成果實在是很尷尬... 原本在 LCS 裡的那些強勢之處不見了，跌破大家眼鏡的 C9 差一步就要突破小組賽 但最後還是被打回原形失敗收場 令人失望的是，一直以來北美的癥結點都是所有隊伍對遊戲的理解都不夠 畢竟我也是看著北美這些職業玩家一路成長過來的，北美的表現讓我非常難過 尤其我們（MIG）還曾被 Dyrus 肆虐過，看他退休也令人不勝唏噓，天佑北美 優點：呃... LoL的發源地算嗎？ 缺點：所有隊伍遊戲理解都很糟 [LMS] Expectation before Worlds: 5/10 Performance up to now: 7/10 As you will know, LMS is a region that gives me a lot of different feelings. The feeling I got after watching LMS was these guys hasn't changed. Their unique style of aggressiveness early in the game and Westdoor's champion pool was still the same. I didn't know how this style of play will work at Worlds especially their weak points being so obvious I could not predict how the game will play out. But their games at Worlds was very fun to watch. Even though they didn't fix their weak points, they focused on playing around their strong points and didn't give their opponent time to rest with their aggressive game style and eventually both teams made it out of groups. Especially FW beating KOO showed how scary this team is when they focus on their strengths. Win or lose this region will always show up and attractive region. 台港澳戰區（來啦！）： 賽前期待指數：5/10 目前表現指數：7/10 台港澳一直是個讓我感觸良多的賽區，看完 LMS 季賽後我的感想是： 「這些傢伙沒有改變」，獨特的早期侵略與西門的角色池依舊如此（中槍啦） 我不知道這個風格是否能夠奏效，尤其這些缺點實在太過明顯以至於我無法 想像這些遊戲的結果會如何 但他們的比賽實在是太有趣了，即便他們沒有改善弱點，他們完全發揮所長 並用侵略的風格讓對手沒有喘息空間，而且最終兩支隊伍都從小組賽中晉級了 尤其是閃電狼擊敗 KOO 的比賽完全展現了他們的可怕之處，無論輸贏與否， 這個賽區的比賽都有得瞧了 FW Pros: Balance between champion pools, team fighting and game management is good and scary when they get a comp they are confident with (feels like an aggressive Korean team). Cons: Very inconsistent and look weak when Pick/Bans or the game don't go their way. 閃電狼 優點：當拿到他們有信心的組合時，角色池、團戰與遊戲理解的配合非常令人畏懼 缺點：不穩定，而且如果選角不如己意或是逆風的時候就喪失神力了 AHQ Pros: Good at building their lead. Great split pushing game management. Cons: Their opponents are SKT. AHQ戰隊 優點：很會取得領先地位，分推與遊戲理解很出色 缺點：他們要打 SKT （呃...） China Expectation before Worlds: 8/10 Performance up to now: 4/10 ( EDG isn't that bad but since it is an overall average) This is a region that was expected to match up to the Koreans. Even though they don't look as strong for a region that is expected to match up to Korea, the movement of top Korean players to China expected a shift of dominance. WE who was bottom of the table in China surprised everyone with their performance at IEM and EDG winning MSI showed China could now match up to Korea. This was the reason why China was expected to do so well at Worlds. I also have watched a lot of LPL and was amazed at how single players will carry the team and their incredible team fighting made me think that this was the only region that could be a threat to Korea. But after watching them at Worlds gave me a shock equivalent to a car crash. Though it is not over as EDG is still in it, the other 2 teams aggressiveness play style only showed up after they were eliminated. EDG, who were rated to be aggressive and have game management skills that could match the Koreans, didn't perform as expected(though I understand this as they were against SKT). I don't know whether it was communication problems or mental problems but Worlds is a place where you come to prove yourself and there should be no excuses. I still believe EDG is a team you should not take easily. I hope they perform as expected in the higher rounds. It still is shocking thinking back at it. The legendary LPL. 中國賽區 賽前期待指數：8/10 目前表現指數：4/10（EDG 沒這麼爛，這是平均而言） 這是大家期待與韓國抗衡的賽區，即便看起來實力似乎存疑，但之前韓國出走潮的影響 還是讓大家期待中國賽區能夠是爭取主宰地位 連墊底的 WE 戰隊在 IEM 都能令大家驚呆了，EDG 在 MSI 奪冠也展現這個賽區的潛力 也難怪各方都期待他們在世界大賽的表現 我也看了許多 LPL 比賽，許多單人carry的表現與精彩的團戰讓我認為他們是韓國 戰隊奪冠之路的唯一威脅，但真正上陣的中國在世界賽的表現實在是嚇得我褲子都掉了 雖然在 EDG 被淘汰前他們仍舊有希望，另外兩隊原有的侵略風格只有在確定被淘汰之後 才有點表現，EDG 的表現也不如我們所預期的強悍（畢竟他們面對SKT） 我不知道究竟是語言溝通上的問題還是心態調整，在世界大賽的戰場上不容許失敗藉口 我還是認為 EDG 是隻有奪冠實力的隊伍，我希望他們在後續賽程上表現更好，偉哉LPL EDG Pros: A good mix of Korean and Chinese strengths. Cons: Their laning phase looks shaky. Especially their top lane makes me cry. EDG戰隊 優點：混合中韓兩方的強處 缺點：抖抖的對線期，尤其是上路都快讓我落淚了 [WC] Only time is the answer.
