Something doesn't sit right with me in hunt for new Liverpool manager
關於利物浦選帥一事，我認為並沒有那麼單純
Another day, another manager approached, another rejection. The Anfield
circus rumbles on. In theory it sounds like Liverpool Football Club are doing
the right thing i.e. assessing all the candidates and making legal approaches
to speak to them. But something doesn't sit right with me.
新的一天又過去了，我們又嘗試接洽了一位新的主帥，然後又再一次的被拒絕
利物浦選帥的演出持續在進行中，雖然從表面看來球會現在所做的事情都很理所當然
就像是把可能的主帥人選列出來一個個的接洽。
但就我看來，一切都沒有那麼單純
Here's a few options and this is purely speculation to give you something to
think about. I am by no means stating any facts:
以下幾點僅供各位參考，再這裡先澄清，這些純屬個人預測
1) Liverpool already know exactly who they want and it's not going to go down
well with the fans. With the PR and spin that would follow on the offal
(official LFC website), Ian Ayre will be able to talk about all the
approaches they made. He would be able to state that the club are happy with
the man they have appointed who was available or available to be released
from his contract. "We tried to get Pep Guardiola but Barry Fry was available
from the start," said Ayre.
1）其實球會早有人選，而這個人並不是球迷心目中的人選
透過放出一些消息，例如昨天嘗試接洽了瓜帥，今天也努力的爭取了誰誰誰
讓球迷相信，其實球會一開始是很努力的想要滿足球迷的希望但都失敗了
2) Liverpool are giving serious consideration to Rafa Benitez. Having gone
back in history once, they could look rather foolish going back again, even
though there should be no comparisons between Dalglish and Benitez. The King
had been out of the game for years, Benitez is one of the leading coaches in
the modern game. The club could also anger some fans with such an
appointment. If they were to appoint him they could say they'd made numerous
approaches to clubs, had spoken to some candidates and were rejected by
others. Ayre said: "We have a proven manager who knows the club inside out,
who is out of contract and lives in the area. He delivered us the European
Cup and came excruciating close to another, during exceptionally difficult
times at the club. It was a no brainer."
2）球會其實很認真的考慮想找回Rafa，但又怕部分球迷和球員會反彈
這時後他們就可以這麼說︰我們找了好幾個人，但是都被拒絕了....
3) Liverpool are trying to apply pressure on a candidate that would excite
the fans. They need him to know that he's not the only option. They may need
him to lower his terms, or accept certain working conditions (DOF, financial
restrictions) or they may simply need to convince him to take the job. On his
parading to the media, the new Liverpool manager said: "I am honoured to be
sat here today following the interest that this job attracted. I am flattered
that the club wanted me especially when you consider the great names that
were linked with the job... apart from Matinez and Rodgers."
3）球會正嘗試去對可能會讓球迷們很興奮的這位主帥施壓，讓他知道他不是唯一解
進而希望他降低他的要求或是接受某種特定的工作模式，或是要說服他接下這個工作
4) Liverpool may be trying to show sponsors and their commercial partners
that they really are trying their hardest to attract stability and success.
4）Liverpool 或許是在展現給贊助商和商業夥伴們看，他們真的非常努力
盡力地尋求穩定和成功，讓他們不要擔心。
