Possible display freezes with Intel graphics cards
See also Bug #50286 and Bug #43897. Users of various Intel video chipsets
reported freezes under various conditions notably when using 3D effects (or
KDE desktop effects). In many cases, switching off desktop effects was
reported to help.
If it still happens without desktop effects, you can add Option "DRI" "off"
to the Device section of /etc/X11/xorg.conf. This will disable 3D
acceleration and desktop effects, but makes suspend work reliably again and
also avoid many types of crashes.
See also update advisory MDVA-2009:084. An update
(x11-driver-video-intel-2.7.1-0.1mdv2009.1) has been release. It should
resolve this issue most Intel cards, although there are still some reports of
a freeze which is why this entry remains here in the Errata.
For the other type of cards (Intel 965 are known to be affected), users
reported activating UXA fixed their problem as well. To activate UXA edit the
/etc/X11/xorg.conf configuration file and add the following line under the
line "Driver intel" :
Option "AccelMethod" "UXA"
Although please note, that some users have reported problems resuming from
suspend when using UXA.
簡而言之就是先更新看看，如果是i965以上的晶片可以啟動UXA提升效能
不過還是不能保證問題絕對解決了.........
