Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom’s wife, sat near the back next to Stu Lantz, but she was escorted up to the front row also just before the team entered the room … sending flashbulbs popping. 大嫂和大小姐相當聰明直接去坐到最前排，和其他貴賓一起。而Khloe，歐登嫂，剛到時假裝低調地坐在後面和隨隊球評Stu Lantz一起，不久後在隊員們進場前，她就被護送到前排去，讓鎂光燈閃個不完。 The Lakers got a chance to meet Obama before the East Room public ceremony in a room backstage. They were impressed that the basketball-loving President knew everyone by name, even the assistant coaches. The President looked back at Magic Johnson as he did it, saying: “You remember that, Magic.” Later, a grinning Johnson said he had to suppress his initial reflex to talk back to the President — just taking it — in what Johnson called the first time in his life he let someone talk trash to him without a reply. 在台上時歐巴馬還比了91年公牛擊敗湖人冠軍賽中MJ知名的換手上籃的動作，惹得全場哄堂大笑。歐巴馬在動作同時往後瞄了魔術強森，說「你記得吧？！科科」結束後強森笑著表示他當下忍得很難過，這是他有生以來第一次被嗆卻忍住沒回嘴XD After the ceremony in which the Lakers presented Obama with a gold No. 1 Lakers jersey and autographed basketball, the team retired to the Diplomatic Reception Room to meet with select reporters. 典禮結束後湖人隊送給歐巴馬一個金色的一號湖人OBAMA球衣和簽名籃球，然後去接待室接受訪問。 Bryant said “the coolest part” was sharing it with his wife and daughters, whom Obama went to meet at the end of the ceremony in visiting with everyone in the front rows of the audience.
