Rice Waived, Ely Activated

The Clippers have waived forward Glen Rice and activated forward/center Melvin
Ely from the injured list.
Ely, who has missed the last 12 games while on the injured list with influenza,
has tallied 4.1 points and 3.3 rebounds in 18 games played this season.
Rice, a 14-year NBA veteran, averaged 3.7 points and 14.6 minutes in 18 games
played.
