Hi Heal Liu,
I understand your concern. Our discs are formatted for maximum global
compatibility, both in terms of format (NTCS or PAL) and region encoding.
Format:
There are two regional television systems: NTSC and PAL. NTCS formatted discs
play in most PAL players, but not vice versa. Unless otherwise noted our
discs are NTSC formatted, so they'll play in all NTCS systems, and most PAL
systems.
Here are the details:
NTSC is the TV format used in Canada, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, Taiwan,
United States, South America and other countries. PAL is the TV format used
in most of Europe, most of Africa, China, India, Australia, New Zealand,
Israel, and other countries. Almost all DVD players sold in PAL countries
play both kinds of discs, and most modern PAL TVs can handle the converted
signal. However, most NTSC players can't play PAL discs, and most NTSC TVs
don't work with PAL video. Most DVD PC software and hardware can play NTCS
formatted discs.
REGION:
Our discs are Region 0 or Regions free, which means playback will not be
limited by any region encoding your player may have.
