When Jeremy Lin was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers this past offseason, the
point guard was thrilled as not only would he be returning to his native
California but he’d also be playing for one of the marquee franchises in the
NBA.
今夏琳書豪被交易到湖人時, 這消息多麼令他振奮, 不單只是能回到家鄉打球, 更因為
能替湖人這支NBA豪門打球
Of course Lin probably didn’t expect the Lakers to be this bad nor did he
expect his game to fall off a cliff, but that’s exactly what has happened.
當然林書豪可能沒料到湖人會這麼糟, 也沒料到披上紫金戰袍後他的比賽會表現不好,
但這兩者卻都實際發生了
A free agent at season end, Jeremy Lin is playing for a contract and the
results have been less than inspiring through the first few months of the
season and it appears he may have played his way out of a deal with the Los
Angeles Lakers. That’s the word from Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski who
believes Jeremy Lin will only spend the current season in Southern California
and lacks chemistry with Kobe Bryant.
本季結束後林書豪將成為自由球員, 他正在替下一張合約努力, 但結果可能會因為本季
前兩個月的表現而不如人意, 看來林書豪也可能會中途被湖人交易出去而替其他球隊打
球, Yahoo Sport的記者Woj相信林書豪只會在湖人打這一季, 因為他跟Kobe無法配合
“I think this Lin is a one-year player with the Lakers. He’s a backup point
guard in the NBA. He’s obviously be thrust into a bigger role because of who
they have [on the Lakers roster], with the injuries and with Steve Nash being
out for the year. You can see that Lin’s confidence is not there. There’s
not a great chemistry between Kobe and Lin, that’s obvious.”
Wojo made the comments during an interview with Los Angeles radio station The
Beast where the full audio can be heard.
It’s not exactly shocking news considering the sub par play of Jeremy Lin
and the fact the Lakers would likely prefer to spend their available money on
a big name talent to go alongside Kobe Bryant.
Still, it seems a bit premature to completely write off the point guard.
這消息不是那樣令人訝異, 因為林書豪現在打不出他該有的水準, 湖人也比較傾向於把
錢砸在另一個大牌球星身上, 然而, 現在對林書豪本季的表現下定論真的太早了
