In economics, income elasticity of demand measures the responsiveness of the
demand for a good to a change in the income of the people demanding the good,
holding all prices constant. It is calculated as the ratio of the percentage
change in demand to the percentage change in income.
e.g. 假設收入i 只有一種商品且價格p (i>p) =>需求量i/p 收入需求彈性e>1
PS
要滿足彈性小於等於一的條件是:Σi(j)*e(j)=i i(j)表示第j項商品初始花費
: Is the following statement true or false?
: If consumers spend their entire incomes, it is impossible for the income
: elasticity of demand for every good to be bigger than 1.” Write a brief
: but convincing explanation of your answer.
