(a)Assume the incident wave is plant wave, derive the field distribution for
the scattering of single perfect conductor cylinder. (hint: 2D scattering
problem, TM and TE are different).
(b) Calculate the scattering cross section of (a).
(c) Repeat (a) and (b) if the material of the cylinder is the dielectric
material.
(d) Repeat (a), (b), and (c) for periodic cylinders.
(e) Repeat (a), (b), and (c) for single sphere. (hint: 3D scattering
problem).
(f) Repeat (a), (b), and (c) for periodic spheres.
