Just because you know something to be true, does not mean that you should spea
k that truth out loud. If the truth can be hurtful, that's all the more reason
to keep it to yourself, even when you are angry, and even when you have been
asked for the truth. That doesn't always apply, of course. If you think that a
painful truth can help someone rather than hurt them, then it may be your obl
igation to reveal it. You have the good judgment to make that decision with so

只是因為你知道某件事情的真相，不代表你應該將真相大聲說出來。
如果真相是傷人的，那更有理由把真相保留給你自己知道，
甚至當別人詢問你真相的時候。
當然，但是那並非總是行得通的。
如果你認為傷人的真相可以幫助某個人，而不是傷害他們，
那你的義務是去揭露它。
