中文釋義:這個議案的提案人心情放鬆下來了,
因為一直到這個提案被簽署生效為法律之前都沒有任何反對。
我對答案沒有什麼疑問,而是本句時態方面有點疑惑
不太懂解題分析的意思,希望能請教板友:
2.Sponsors of the bill were ______ because there
was no opposition to it within the legislature
until after the measure had been signed into law.
解題分析說這邊的until,不是not...until...的用法,
因為not...until...的until後面要跟明確的時間,
而且這樣意思會變成議案通過之後有很多人反對它;
本句的until應該是單獨用法,表示before的意思。
可是如果將本句的until解釋為before,
不就是把before after並列嗎怎麼有點矛盾??@@
另外還有一個問題:

所以到底時態的先後順序應該怎麼解釋呢?
