[計量] 問幾題BB上的計量以及數學觀念..

TEST 24-1 20 In a certain room, all except 18 of the people are over 50 years of age. If 15 of the people in the room are under 50 years of age, how many people are in the room? 這題題目我覺得好奇怪.....第一句話跟第二句話是不是矛盾阿? 前面先說只有18個人沒有超過50歲，後面又說15個人沒有超過50歲.... 請問這題題目到底是怎麼翻譯呢? 同一回圖表題24 (p.946) If Market X is open 96 hours per week, for how many hours last week were two cashiers working at the same time? 25題有較快速的算法嗎? 原本是5.5塊錢一小時，做25小時，新的是工資多10%但是總時數少10% 問總收入到底增加或減少.... 這題我會算，只是計算感覺很花時間耶... 我的算法是: 原來的:5.5*25=137.5 (5.5*1.1)*(25-2.5)=136.125 另外像是27題:算式是1.5*0.25+0.5*0.75 這種有更快的算法嗎?? 因為我每次都來不及做完，可是看板上朋友都20分鐘就做完一回....*[m 所以想請教有沒有簡潔或是更好的算法... 另外請問: 3-->5 成長率是 (5-3)/3 如果反過來 5--->3 降低率是 (5-3)/5 嗎?? 還是除以3呢?? 如果是5 比3 多了多少百分比，是不是等於 (5-3)/3*100% 如果3比5少了多少百分比，是不是等於 (5-3)/5*100%呢?? 分母部分我真的常搞不清楚說.....拜託板上的大大們幫我釐清一下觀念吧這題題目看不懂: A sealed reactangular tank, which has inside dimentsions of 30 by 40 by 50cm, is parially full of water (比較大小) (a) the depth of the water when the tank is level and rests on one of its 30-by 50-cm faces (b) the depth of the water when the tank is level and rests on one of its 30-by 40-cm faces 圖表題test 25-2: 24.
