我又想到另一個字 concubine
a woman with whom a man cohabits without being married:
as a: one having a recognized social status in a household
below that of a wife
和一個男人同居但未有婚姻關係的女人，
在那男人家中，她的社會地位得到認可，
不過她在那個家的地位比正室低。

（其實是誤譯）
