[字彙] perfect, positive, sharp
這三個字，看似簡單，卻意義繁多！ （好多字這都樣 XD）
GRE講得都不是簡單的東西。

昨天一個外籍教授在講 Plato 的時候，突然就講到數學了 XD
他在黑板上畫了一個圓形、三角形，然後問
Do you believe in perfect circle and perfect triangle?
Plato didn't believe...blah blah blah. They are ideal and they are only in
your mind.
很快就瞭了，原來perfect circle、perfect triangle 就是(正)圓形、正三角形

想到因為網路而普及的一個詞：正妹
perfect girl...其實不適合...台灣的正妹除了長相，其他方面都不perfect ...（默）

因為 perfect circle，莫名其妙想到以前讀的一個short story中的一個句子。
有類似的feeling。
The thick willow scrub along the river flamed with sharp and positive
yellow leaves.

positive 有可能的意思是 (a matter of literary interpretation)_
positive: Composed of or characterized by the presence of particular qualities
or attributes; real
而 sharp and positive yellow leaves 就是 鮮黃色的葉子（真正的黃色）

另外 sharp 也有"正"的意思 as in "5 o'clock sharp" (五點整)
sharp: punctually; exactly
