第二個 that 是干擾用的
recession that many had feared earlier --> had feared 是修飾 recession
come 是和 avoid 平行 --> will avoid and instead come
avoid 後面是 recession
come 後面是 increase in business activity
正好加強了 and instead 的平行

: were fearing earlier in the year, and rather
: to come
: (E) that the economy will avoid the recession that
: was feared earlier this year by many, with it

: 想請問答案A中, 過去完成式 "had feared" and 現在式"come" 這樣對嗎?
: 請問B選項錯的點是? What.....in the year, rather to come .... 兩句沒有連接詞?
