不是, 這題是兩個不同的時間點做比較, in his own time及our own time (ours)
所以不同的時間點在標準英文的比較結構通常會補出it/they + 助動詞/be動詞
: 到現在還是搞不太清楚as...as...的用法
: 根據文法第一個as是副詞 第二個as是連接詞
: 而老莫說連接詞後面一定要接S+V
: 但如果是以下的例句:
: "The weather today is as nice as that of yesterday."
: 第二個as後面也沒有完整的S+V?
that/those表達相同種類不同東西的概念, 通常後面直接接修飾語, 並不會補出動詞
如果要補出動詞必須是that/those後面修飾語是接子句才會補出
