這是比較結構的句子，其實閱讀比較結構的句子，要是出現所謂的helping Verb，也就是
補出助動詞或be動詞，其實比較的對象都會在主詞，先掌握這個原則。
that在比較結構的功用是指代前面出現過的名詞，表達同種類不同個體的概念，does的確
是指代前句含Action的完全相同舊資訊，所以幫你把than後面的句子還原:
the stock of the firm for which it bids tends to increase in
value.
這樣就知道是the stock of the prospective acquiring firm和the stock of the firm
for which it bids兩個資訊在比value誰增加的多。
