我嘗試解釋看看
"In no other..."(倒裝結構) + did Halley's
1. 還原: Halley's comet caused such a worldwide sensation in no other historical
sighting as (Halley's comet caused a world wide sensation) in its return in
1910-1911.
2. 再看一次原文 倒裝了甚麼? in no other...
3. 為何要倒裝？
因為作者想要強調"In no other..."
既然是強調之所在 它在句子後面成為一個比較對象也是合理的
A改變了比較對象
也就是我一開頭強調了X 句子後面卻對比了Y
(不讓它成為比較對象 在邏輯預期上會很奇怪)
所以C選項表達出的比較重心 會是最preferable
用中文是看不大出來的:
A 就像它在1910年曾回來過
C 就像它在1910年的回歸
btw
歪國人看到 "In no other historical sighting.... as..."
就知道as後面是要跟first phrase連起來的
所以要compare的是 "in its return"
