※ 引述《chilis (chilis)》之銘言: : (A letter by Mark Twain, written in the same year as The Adventures of : Huckleberry Finn were published,) reveals that Twain provided financial : assistance to one of the first Black students at Yale Law School. : (A) 與題目一樣 : (B) A letter by Mark Twain, written in the same year of publication as The : Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, : (C)A letter by Mark Twain, written in the same year that The Adventures of : Huckleberry Finn were published, : (D)Mark Twain wrote a letter in the same year as he published The Adventures : of Huckleberry Finn that : (E) Mark Twain wrote a letter in the same year of publication as The : Adventures of Huckleberry Finn that : 我自己選(D) : (A)(B)(C)被動,reveals已經是動詞~前面不能有動詞/ : were published要改成was published...因為A letter是單數~ : (E) the same year of publication整個很怪= =,有這種寫法嗎??? : **還有the same as 跟the same that 有什麼區別阿? : 這題上課沒抄到答案~來欣同學可幫我看一下答案嗎?在B03模考檢討1-15題後補充的題目 : 大家也可討論一下 感謝^^ 答案不是D,E 因為重點是信,不是Mark Twain的動作,這題很容易會選主動表達而做錯 A的were錯,這是書名,用單數表達 答案是C 你C的選項抄錯了,were應該改成was 這題是OG10 的題目,解釋如下 In this sentence, the relative pronoun that should introduce the clause The Adventures... published to make a relative clause modifying year. Also, the singular title of the novel demands a singular verb: for example, one would say, “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is (not “are”) a great book.” Only C, the best choice, satisfies both requirements. Choices A and D incorrectly substitute as for that to introduce the relative clause. Choice A also mistakes the novel title for a plural (were published). B confuses meaning (written in the same year of publication as). E creates a similar confusion of meaning, and both D and E are awkward and imprecise because that is too far away from its referent (letter) to be clear. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.168.73.161
