漢米爾頓賽後立刻找到舒馬克,認為德國人阻擋了他,而進行了一番理論。是的,這一幕似乎有「穿越」的感覺,但這的確是鈴鹿,不是蒙扎。
F1日本站排位賽結束,邁凱輪車手漢米爾頓排在第三,英國人對這個成績並不滿意,將問題推到舒馬克身上,認為梅賽德斯車手在其暖胎圈即將完成的時候險些與他相撞,否則有機會挑戰杆位。
漢米爾頓說:「你可以看看電視,我必須去看重播,簡森在我的前面,他在確保位置穩固後慢了下來,而我來到最後一個彎試圖開始計時圈的時候,麥可當到了我前面。
當我入彎後,從反光鏡裡看到馬克-韋柏在逐漸靠近,而找不到麥可,就在這時德國人幾乎與我發生碰撞,這是在太危險了。」
漢米爾頓認為他很有機會拿到杆位,最終只能從第三位出發,賽後邁凱輪車手特意找到舒馬克,還對那次「危險變線」進行理論。
