物理作業Chapter3
8.(Ⅱ) In her qualifying lap for the British Grand Prix in July 1986, Andrea
de Cesaris drove around the 4.2-km track in 1 min 13 s. The 75-lap race was
won by Nigel Mansell at an average speed of 208 km/h. If she could have
maintained her qualifying speed throughout the race, by what distance would
she have won or lost?
18. (Ⅱ) A driver in the Le Mans rally has to maintain an average speed of
75 km/h for a 300-km run. He travels at 100 km/h for the first 180 km and then
rests for 12 min. What average speed does he need for the rest of the journey?
32. (Ⅱ) From the v versus t graph of Fig.3.36, plot (a) the a versus t graph,
and (b) the x versus t graph. Take x = 0 at t = 0. (c) What is the average
acceleration from 1 s to 4 s? (d) What is the instantaneous acceleration at
3 s?
44. (Ⅱ) A car moving at 60 km/h meets a train of length 1 km moving at 40 km/h
along a track parallel to the road. What distance does the car travel in
passing the length of the train given that they travel (a) in the same
direction, or (b) in opposite directions?
62. (Ⅱ) A tennis ball is dropped from a height of 5 m and rebounds to a
height of 3.2 m. If it is in contact with the floor for 0.0036 s, what is its
average acceleration during this period?
