The Nationals are expected to recall SS Trea Turner from Triple-A Syracuse on Friday. Advice: Ryan Zimmerman will be placed on paternity leave in the corresponding roster move. The top prospect has had a productive year in Syracuse, hitting .310 with five homers, 24 RBI and five steals. Turner struggled in his first stint with Washington in 2015 (.225 in 40 at-bats) but he might be here to stay this time. It's unclear if Danny Espinosa will keep his job at shortstop upon Turner's arrival.
