Myers to miss eight weeks after wrist surgery
Wil Myers is expected to miss eight weeks after upcoming surgery to remove a
bone spur in his left wrist.
Myers was placed back on the disabled list Monday with wrist issues, and
surgery is the worst possible news for the outfielder. Eight weeks puts him
back in mid-August. The Padres will likely lean on Will Venable and Melvin
Upton Jr. in Myers' absence.
