Carlos Gonzalez to undergo surgery on finger Carlos Gonzalez will undergo exploratory surgery on his left index finger Tuesday. More will be known about a potential timetable when it's discovered what exactly needs to be fixed, but obviously this is a big blow for the Rockies no matter what. CarGo has been dealing with swelling in the finger since early May before finally being placed on the disabled list last Wednesday.
