Shin-Shoo Choo will undergo an MRI on his left ankle Tuesday.
Advice: Choo left Monday's game after he injured the ankle while stepping
on first base awkwardly. X-rays came back negative, but the Rangers still
want to rule out the possibility of a more serious injury. We should know
more about his status Tuesday evening.

Advice: It's no surprise, of course, as Choo underwent an MRI on his left
ankle earlier Tuesday. There's no word yet on the results. Michael Choice
is in left field Tuesday in Choo's place.

An MRI has revealed that Shin-Soo Choo does not have a high left ankle sprain
.
Advice: Choo will not play in the series against the A's that ends on Wednesday
but we will re-evaluated after Thursday's off day and could be back in the
lineup over the weekend. The outfielder injured his ankle while stepping
on first base awkwardly during Monday's game, but he's managed to avoid
a serious ailment.
