Kris Medlen was diagnosed with a mild forearm strain after being removed early from Sunday's Grapefruit League outing against the Mets. Medlen was in noticeable discomfort after throwing his second-to-last pitch, then was seen looking at his elbow while walking off after his final delivery. He will be re-evaluated by team doctors on Monday, and a serious injury can't yet be ruled out.
