News: According to John Shea, Giants closer Brian Wilson has structural
damage in his elbow and faces possible surgery.
Impact: Uh oh. Shea also mentions that Wilson will possibly be meeting with
Dr. James Andrews which is never good news. Should Wilson need surgery, he'd
be unlikely to return and contribute for the remainder of the season. In this
case, Sergio Romo would step in as the likely closer and have tremendous value
in fantasy leagues everywhere. Stay tuned, we'll update this situation further
as soon as more information becomes available.
