Wright to begin rehab assignment Wednesday
David Wright (back) is expected to begin a minor league rehab assignment on
Wednesday.
Wright is expected to take about 30-40 at bats in the minors before returning
to New York. So he probably won't be cleared medically until the Mets
complete their six-game homestand that begins immediately after the All-Star
break. He should be back in action sometime around July 22.
