INF-DH Michael Young has begun working on learning the fundamentals of
outfield play. While the Rangers don't envision turning Young into a regular
outfielder, they have run into an outfield crunch already this season and
manager Ron Washington has bemoaned the lack of right-handed hitting outfield
depth since spring training.
