The setting:

    ifconfig_wlan0="inet 192.168.1.111 netmask 255.255.255.0 mode 11g bssid my:ssid wepmode on weptxkey 1 wepkey 1:0x1111111111"

works for me, don't know why, maybe the inet string must be put at
the head of the value?
