I admit that I may be mistaken about the ntpd part, or my information
may be outdated.
Since what FreeBSD version does ntpd update the CMOS clock?
I don't run ntpd often, I really prefer to run NTP servers on Cisco
routers and ntpdate on FreeBSD hosts.
