rebuilding world fail

Hi,

Rebuilding world for current, I found two blocking errors:

make installkernel retrun "1: Invalid argument"
and when I try to execute mergemaster, the system
claims he's out of file descriptors. Other commands
also fail with the same message.

I have no clues about this issue, and the system log
didn't help.
