Regarding PicoBSD, you seem didn't understand what is a PicoBSD image.

You can't install a PicoBSD image on your Ubuntu, but you can run a
PicoBSD image inside a virtual machine from your Ubuntu=85
But don't ask the question "How to run a PicoBSD disk image on my
Ubuntu" here, because this question will be off-topic too ;-)
