Pray tell!
There will always be charge leakage, but last I talked to
silicon-pushers, that was (almost) entirely independent of read-access
and correlated strongly with temperature*duration.
Obviously, if your flash controller lies to you and do needless writes
anyway, we are not talking read-only.
Those are the only two effects I know of ?
