You are thinking of OLEDs, which is a different technology. As far as I know, there is not a single OLED-based computer monitor on the market. Smaller full-color, high-resolution OLED screens in numbers are now making their appearance in smartphones, e.g. the Samsung Omnia II. I think the largest OLED screen you can buy is still Sony's XEL-1 bedside television with it's 11-inch display, although at 2500 USD that is more of a technology demonstration. Larger OLED TVs are regularly shown off at trade shows such as IFA, but these are prototypes that aren't in production. -- Christian "naddy" Weisgerber naddy@mips.inka.de _______________________________________________ freebsd-chat@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-chat To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-chat-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
