如果可以的話，我會請同學把簡單的句子先看懂，而什麼叫作簡單的句子？
英文有五大句型，而每一個句型都是S+V，先不管有S+V+O...S+V+O+O…等等等，這些
就只要先看得懂什麼叫簡單句S+V開頭的句子，
S+V就可以構成一個句子，所以這一題可以先拆成
句1. They own an original Picasso painting. (他們擁有一幅畢卡索真跡)

句2. The value of Picasso painting is inestimable.(畢卡索畫的價值是不能估計的）

而二句話要變成一句話時，就需要連接詞，所以可以變成(三種變法)
新句1. They own an original Picasso painting, and its value is inestimable.

新句2. They own an original Picasso painting, whose value is inestimable.
^^^^^關代(=連接詞+代名詞)
新句3. They own an original Picasso painting; its value is inestimable.
^^分號視同連接詞and
: 正確答案為(2) whose
: 已知可以排除(4), 而(3) which 後要接V 也去除 // ex: which is inestimable.
: 我的困惑是在(1) 為何不行？感覺也挺順的
: 之前也有看過類似題目

: 正確答案卻是(B)
這一題非形容詞子句，所以不選關代，所以不會有whose的答案
但可以改成
新句1 Not far from the school there was a small house, and its owner seated in
it reading story books with his children every evening.
*, and --->前面一句話+後面一句話要有連接詞，所以用, and its.....
新句2 Not far from the school there was a small house; its owner seated
in it reading story books with his children every evening.
*分號視同為連接詞and
所以原po的答案有少打到字，少了and或 沒有打到 ; (分號)
: 所以這讓我有點困惑 揪竟要如何判斷呢?
