HUGH Jackman, along with Ewan McGregor, has signed to appear in a
big-screen version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Sunset Boulevard,
which is expected to be released around Christmas 2006.
The last time Australian audiences saw Jackman on stage was in the same
production in the 90s. The boys will be joined by veteran actor Glenn
Close in the adaptation of the musical by Lloyd Webber.
Close is believed to be playing the part of Norma Desmond, McGregor
will be Joe Gillis, and Jackman is expected to be playing the part of
Max von Mayerling.
