I think gap year is especially important for youngsters that maybe haven't
found what they are passionate about. I think that by taking a year off and
discovering your true self (passion, interest, beliefs), you will have a
better idea of what you want in life and therefore have a better idea of
whether you actually need a college education.
Too many college students don't know why they are getting a college education
in their particular majors....it's not only a waste of their time, but also a
waste of educational resources!
It's better to have a clear goal before going into college, wouldn't you say?
