It is said the most direct way, the shortcut of learning English
speaking, is to make friends with foreigners. But what if you can't
find one? So the alternative you willy-nilly turn to may be joining
cram school, though it may cost you some.
Once I have heard from my friend saying that in cram school,
what the teachers do to improve your speaking is divide students into
groups and then ask them to talk with each other, with them walking
around listen to your conversation from time to time. Hearing of it,
I asked her what if your partner can't speak fluently enough, and
she said that's why her friend always pretended not to be able to
find a partner and then she could practice with the teacher.
Nice try~
For me, I choose to practice myself; for one thing, it
is hard to find a partner, no matter to practice speaking or to help
revise my essay. For another, I don't have much extra money to enroll
in the speaking course. But the disadvantage is I can't pinpoint
common faults I make in either my writing or my speaking all by myself. QQ
