As my prof. said, "To speak to the foreigner! It's the only way
for you to improve your English ability. And not to be scared, because of your
not a native English speaker so that you do not have to speak a fluent
English." As for the pronunciation, have you ever tried to speaking English
articles slowly and carefully? It gave me a big hand on my speaking. If you
have done so, to acquaint with some foreigners and imitate their accent.
Another suggestion for you is to study the English acdemic writing
lecture. Altough this do a little with your speaking, the lecture actually
strengthen your basic English ability and teach you many critical thinking
skills. I hope the school would pay more attention on the acdemic writing,
for it's not merely a English lecture that I was fortunately to obtain the
permission to study it in the English Honor Program in the NCCU.
