Last Friday, my BFF (best friend forever) came to my school to join the second phase of graduate school entrance exam, an interview in which the professors will lay seige against you with continuing questions on related your dissertation. Cordially respecting for his great attainments in English, I worship him as a master in literature, or in essay. His works are almost out-of-this-world, which always sets back my confidence. That day was a gray and lukewarm morning. I was bathed in both sunlight and his gentleness, yet I am no "queer" at all. He, who will never be full of himself despite his competence, kindly taught me some English phrases, which I can hardly recall though trying hard googling. Here are two of them: 1. It requires no Cassandra to prophesy that.... 2. Even Homer nods. I love them and think they are rather cute, though still wondering if I can use them in my essay. Thanks dude! There's NO way you can't pass the interview. ^^ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.228.24.233
