To be honest with you,i have the same problem in my English-speaking class.
After 4 years of studying in the University,it's not hard to find out that
Although Taiwanese students show an excellent perofrmance on examinations,
they are not mature enough.In my my English class,the professor often
requires students to express their own ideas,thoughts or feelings.All they
can answer are ''yes,i do.No i dont.I dont know''.Taiwanese students spend
lots of time on acdemic assignments including all types of tests.Sadly,
they dont get anything out of the assignment.They only care about earning
grades or credits instead of really getting to understand the knowledge.
Therefore,Taiwanese students are not good at expressing themselves.
Even though they speak,they still lack the knowledge or the skill to speak.
Above all,Taiwanese students sometimes are not mature enough.
