These are what my friends and I usually use when chatting online
and are not provided by FoBenJa and jasonjun:
thx = thanks
plz = please
ttyl = talk to you later
gonna = going to (i.e. I'm gonna tell him.)
Imma bout to = I'm going to...in a lil bit (i.e. Imma bout to go home.)
Imma ... = I will (Imma try my best to get this done)
i dunno = I don't know
boi = boy
lovin, borin = loving, boring (can be applied to anything with ing)
lil = little (i.e. a lil bit)
kinda = kind of (i.e. he was kinda impolite to you.)
grad student = graduate student
ATL = Atlanta; Chitown = Chicago;
indy, naptown = Indianapolis;
intro = introduce; info = information
blk = black; brw = brown;
wit = with (i dont wanna go to the movie wit u)
BBF = best friend forever
tho = though, although
gotta ='ve got to (i.e. I gotta go)
b4 = before
po po = police
nite = night; nite nite = good night
hon = honey
jk = just kidding; jp = just playing
prolly/probly = probably
lemme = let me
u/ya/cha = you
yo = your (i.e. imma kick yo butt at bowling)
aight/aite = alright
st8 = straight
