[請益] till his puzzler was sore
In "How the Grinch stole Christmas" by Dr. Seuss,
a sentence read:
And he puzzled three hours till his puzzler was sore.
What does "puzzler" mean?
The brain part used to puzzle gets sore?
The muscle involved in hunching the back for puzzling gets sore?
Or any better explanation?
I have looked it up online and find nothing though it is
used on some websites without explanaiton.
