[請益] 不定詞當形容詞要不要接介詞

以下三則例子都出自於字典 (1) I'll ask around, see if I can find them a place to stay. (2) Brompton became a fashionable district to live in. (3) The hotel terrace is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing drink. 想請問： (1) 我們不會說stay a place，而stay in a play 那為什麼a place to stay不必有in？ (2) 我們不會說live a district，這裡to live in 又有in，和(1)不同之處在哪？ (3) 我覺得應該是... to enjoy ... drink in.才對 為何沒有in？ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 114.35.36.92 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Eng-Class/M.1459819565.A.C32.html
