個人覺得有時候about跟of可以互換（如learn of=learn about；dream of=dream about）
這邊你把of換成about
把整個about her jokes當成可調來調去的副詞片語，答案不就呼之欲出了？
亦即：
About her jokes, I wanted to tell her what I really thought, but I bit my
tongue.
