想請問一下，我看完敘述後，有點不懂
I am sorry that I cannnot attend your party.
I am sorry (about) that Tom should be so weak.
這兩句應該同類型的句子，可如果照上面你寫的，
1.賴氏英文文法書會認為後面的子句是副詞子句，因為修飾 sorry(adj)
2.你找的另一種解釋及旋元佑文法書會認為後面是名詞子句，
因為省略了介係詞about，而that後面的子句當about的受詞，所以是名詞子句
到底哪個才是正確解答？@@

補充一下
旋元佑是寫中間有省略掉一個介系詞片語，而裡頭有個名詞同位格
I am sorry (about that thing) that Tom should be so weak.
就是指that Tom should be so weak這個名詞子句是that thing的同位格
而about that thing省略了。
