比賽要結束了才會知道結果 表示比賽是過去的事件
故用過去式 No one could beat...來表示當時比賽沒人能贏Paul
He has won the....這句則表示Paul到目前為止連贏了三屆(持續到現在的結果)
假設一分鐘前最新的比賽結果出爐，Paul被擊敗了
則你可以說 He had won the running championship continuously for three years.
但不能說 No one could beat Paul at running.
或許可講 No one could beat Paul at running in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
: 2. We hope that there ______ no war in the world and that all people
: live in peace and harmony with each other.
: (A) has been (B) will be (C) is (D) are
: 答案B
: 想問題目中的第二個子句and that all people live in peace
: 是否動詞該改為will live
: 對等連接詞前後動詞不是應該一致?
