[文法] and then的用法
今天家教學生問了我一個問題
因為我一時無法解答 所以請他回去想想看> <
想請問大家知不知道
and then 和 ，and then的差異
為什麼前面的and then不用在前面加逗號呢??
如下面的句子
(句1)他把機器拆開後又組裝起來了。
He took the machine to pieces and then put it together again.
(句2)他停頓了一下然後繼續講話。
He paused for a moment, and then continued his speech.
我知道and如果前面有加逗號的話是表示兩個句子
但是這兩個句子好像都是接續的動作?? (這就是疑惑處)
請問要怎麼解釋這一題呢???
