可以。
英語有些特別的方法轉變一個句子而讓它適合名詞的角色。
按我自己利用的文法，就會叫做“名詞化”("nominalization")。
1.) The Klassen, Inc. is now in the process of establishing branches and
affiliates all over the world.
1.1.) The Klassen, Inc. is now in the process of x.
1.2.) The Klassen, Inc. establishes branches and affiliates all over
the world.
(1.2.)號需要轉變從
The Klassen, Inc. establishes branches and affiliates all over
the world.
到
[The Klassen, Inc.]['s] establishing branches and affiliates all over
the world.
然後可以放在(1.1.)號的x之處。
也可以放在句子裡其他名詞之處，例如：
* The Klassen, Inc.'s establishing branches ... will mean big profits for them.
* Establishing branches ... interests new investors.
* What does The Klassen, Inc. know about establishing branches ...?
* The Klassen, Inc. considered establishing branches ... for a while.
上下文也可以幫您知道是否要說或寫[...]裡的字：
John doesn't like working two jobs. （John不喜歡【他自己】上兩班。）
John doesn't like his wife['s] working two jobs. （John不喜歡他太太上兩班。）
John doesn't like cooking. （John不喜歡烹調。）
John doesn't like his wife cooking. （John不喜歡他太太烹調。）
John doesn't like his wife's cooking. （John不喜歡他太太的烹飪。）
Cooking is easier than working two jobs is. （烹調比上兩班更容易。）
另外的答案不在服從任一個“句子到名詞”的轉變。
還有這個：該轉變跟動詞的進行式無關。
